Joining our presentation of the 13th edition of Rencontres de Bamako - African Biennial of Photography, together with its director Igo Diarra, will be Kwasi Ohene-Ayeh. “He has been a member of the curatorial committee of the 12th edition of the biennial taking place in Bamako since 1994, artistic advisor to Cecilia Alemani for the 59th Venice Biennale, and has co-organized a pedagogical project during Documenta Fifteen in 2022. We look forward to hearing Kwasi's insight into Rencontres's role in Mali's contemporary art scene and wider cultural life.
